Storm Team 4
Friday will some sun, leading into rainy weekend
MILWAUKEE - The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for lows near 20 along the lake Thursday night and in the teens inland with some patchy fog developing late. The fog will quickly burn off and leave plenty of sun for Friday, along with a light SE wind and highs near 40.
Clouds increase Friday with lows in the mid 20s as the next storm system moves in from the southwest. Saturday will be cloudy and mild with highs near 40, but grab an umbrella as rain is likely throughout the day. There is a slight chance for sleet and freezing rain early Saturday morning, but it will quickly change to rain and stay rain Saturday night and for most of Sunday. This could have easily been a foot of snow, but it will be in the low to mid 40s on Sunday. Colder air move sin late in the day on Sunday, and as temps drop into the 30s, some light snow will mix with the rain....no accumulation is expected.
Next week looks quiet and mild with highs in the 40s except on Monday.
