Burlington cleans up from another winter storm
BURLINGTON - Neighbors in Burlington spent the afternoon and evening cleaning up after yet another winter storm.
The area received about 5.5 inches Tuesday with steady snow throughout the day. Main roads through downtown have been cleared but they’re still snow packed.
Residents said the latest storm seemed milder than last week’s storm.
“I didn’t think it was all that bad,” said Craig Stutzman
Stutzman and his two kids, Drew and Sophia, took a break from snow blowing to have a little fun. Unlike some districts further south, the kids still had school today, much to their disappointment.
“The first thing they asked this morning was whether they were going to be off,” he said.
The city does have its winter restricted parking in effect from 10 p.m. through 6 a.m. Parking is prohibited during that time on any streets, alleys or municipal lots.
