Stabbing during attempted robbery at gas station
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police say they're investigating a stabbing at a gas station early Tuesday morning.
According to police, a man from Milwaukee was at a gas station near the corner of North 29th Street and West Fond du Lac Avenue at about 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say a suspect tried to rob him and showed him a knife.
The suspect, 27, stabbed.the victim when he tried to stop the robbery.
Officers came to the scene and arrested the suspect. Police are checking into whether he has committed other robberies.
The victim is 56 years old. Police say he should survive his injuries.
