Report: Packers QB Rodgers doesn't plan contract holdout
GREEN BAY - A published report says that quarterback Aaron Rodgers has no plans to hold out if he doesn't get a contract extension with the Green Bay Packers.
According to a CBS Sports report, sources close to the Super Bowl 45 and 2011 NFL MVP say he's "concerned about his contract situation with the Packers," particularly after Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco signed a contract that will give him approximately $20 million per year.
Rodgers is set to make $9.25 million in 2013.
The Packers chose not to keep Greg Jennings by using the franchise tag, allowing him to become a free agent.
They also will have to consider re-signing linebacker Clay Matthews, who is a free agent after 2013.
