Costs of escaping Milwaukee snow and flying south
MILWAUKEE - For a second, take a step away from the reality of the winter storm that's about to sock us.
Wouldn't it be nice to pick up and leave Milwaukee, and plop down on a beach somewhere warm?
We took it upon ourselves to check how much it would cost to go somewhere warm today.
First up: Cancun.
- Departure: 12:30 p.m.
- Arrival: 7:30 p.m., staying for a week.
Airfare: $470 round trip.
Next, the southern tip of the United States - Key West.
- Departure: 5:30 p.m.
- Arrival: Wednesday
Airfare: $727 round trip.
Las Vegas may be a little more reasonable.
- Departure: 3:00 p.m.
- Arrival: 9:00 p.m.
Airfare: $587 round trip
Finally, Hawaii.
- Departure: 5:20 p.m.
- Arrival: 4:20 p.m. Wednesday
Airfare: $756 round trip
