Drunken woman walks into the path of drunk driver
MADISON - A woman was cited over the weekend for walking in the road while drunk, but was hit by someone who was allegedly driving while intoxicated. The incident happened around 1:40 a.m. Sunday morning near West Johnson Street at North Broom Street in Madison.
"Sakura Lieteau, 42, of Middleton, was cited for first offense drunken driving and Sarah Thacker, 21, of Madison, was cited for sudden pedestrian movement," said Madison.com.
According to police spokesman Joel DeSpain, witnesses said Leiteau had a green light at the time of the crash.
