MILWAUKEE - A rare open-court John Doe criminal investigation got started Monday.
The investigation is looking into the death of Brandon Johnson. Family members say he was perfectly healthy when police took him to the Milwaukee Mental Health Complex in October.
Johnson died just days later, from complications of a broken neck. John Doe investigations are normally kept secret.
