MILWAUKEE - A rare open John Doe investigation was to begin Monday into the death of a patient at the Milwaukee County Health Complex.
The court wants to see if any criminal wrongdoing happened when Brandon Johnson died.
Family members say he was healthy when he was admitted to the complex.
He died days later from complications involving a broken neck.
