TOWN OF WAYNE - Fire Departments from at least three counties responded to a fire in northwest Washington County early this morning.
The fire severely damaged a farmhouse in Town of Wayne. Firefighters say the home is likely a total loss.
No one was home at the time. According to authorities, the fire was first noticed early Sunday morning by someone who was grooming snowmobile trails in the area.
Firefighters were able to quickly put out that fire, but it had already done significant damage to the home.
No one was hurt. Authorities are trying to locate the home's owners.
