Customers follow man who steals car from gas station
MOUNT PLEASANT - Just after 12:30 a.m. on Friday, March 1, a Range Rover was stolen from a parking lot at the Kwik Trip on Durand Avenue.
Customers followed the vehicle and Kenosha Police and Sheriff's deputies pulled it over on Highway 158 and 68th in Kenosha. Police arrested 24-year-old Paco Guerrerro.
Witnesses at Kwik Trip said Guerrerro had arrived in another vehicle. When police ran the license plates on that vehicle, they found it had also been stolen from Bensenville, Illinois on Feb. 28.
Guerrerro was charged with two counts of Operating a Vehicle without Owner’s Consent. He is being held in the Racine County jail.
