SHEBOYGAN - Some people are still digging out two days after a storm dumped more than a foot of snow in some areas.

While the snow is pretty to look at places like Doctors Park in Fox Point, it's a different story in Sheboygan. More than 15 inches has some people still trying to get out of their driveways.

It's been a rough couple of days for Dan Genske. Clearing his family's driveway isn't easy, even with his snowblower.

“This snow is so heavy, it's a two man operation,” said Genske. “One to break it up and another to blow it away.”

Even with his plan. Genske said his snow blower just can't handle the amount and weight of this snow.

“I broke a chain and one of the shear pins on the auger,” he said.

His machine has taken a beating over the last two days and virtually hasn't stopped.

“We went out by my daughter yesterday and helped her out,” said Leroy Genske. “She couldn't get out of her driveway and now it's dad’s turn.”

Genske said he’ll be happy when all of this is over - two days after the snow first started to fly.

In addition to the snow, some people are dealing with downed trees.
