Sheboygan father's heart sunk when he learned of accident
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - The father of a first grader who was hit by a car yesterday in Sheboygan says his heart sunk when he got the call.
Sean Olson tells Today's TMJ4's Keller Russell that he hung up the phone and ran to the hospital to be by his six-year-old daughter, Aubrey's side.
The first grader and her mother were crossing a busy intersection, with the help of a crossing guard, when an SUV drove around another vehicle that was stopped for the crosswalk and hit both of them.
Aubrey reportedly was thrown by the SUV about 20 feet, and now has a concussion.
Aubrey's mother has several broken bones.
The driver was arrested on an unrelated charge.
