Daylight shooting on Milwaukee's north side
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police Department says someone who was shot during daylight hours Friday morning has gone to a local hospital.
Reports from police show the shooting happened at about 7:15 a.m. Friday near the corner of North 32nd Street and West Silver Spring Drive.
Sgt. Mark Stanmeyer with the Milwaukee Police Department said the shooting happened in a residence on N. 32nd Street.
"A 34-year-old man was shot by his 31-year-old wife during a domestic violence related argument," said Stanmeyer. "The victim is being treated at a local hospital for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries."
The woman was arrested, and the investigation is on-going.
