Former Milwaukee Co. Board Chairman accused of sexual assault

MILWAUKEE - Lee Holloway, the former Milwaukee Board Chairman who retired last year after 20 years in office, faces accusations of sexual assault.

A woman filed a complaint last week with the Equal Rights Division.

She claims the "sexual discrimination" happened on Holloway's last full day in office.

According to the discrimination complaint, the woman claims that on April 13, 2012, Holloway sexually assaulted and harassed her "forcibly, against the Complainant's will, kissed complainant, inserted his tongue into her mouth, grabber her breast and grabbed her buttocks. [She] directed Holloway to stop touching her immediately."

Because the complaint was filed against the county and not Holloway, the Journal Sentinel reports that taxpayers will be paying for Holloway's defense, as well as any payout from the case.

Holloway told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Dan Bice "I don't know anything about it," while the Milwaukee County District Attorney's refused to comment on whether they were investigating the claims.
