Schedule of I-43/94 bridge reconstruction projects
MILWAUKEE - The following is the bridge reconstruction schedule for I-43/94 corridor (courtesy Wisconsin DOT):
Starting in February:
- Outside lane closures; maintain traffic on two innermost lanes (I-43/94 NB Howard Ave to Marquette Interchange, I-43/94 SB Becher St to Howard Ave)
- Northbound I-43/94 from Holt Ave & Howard Ave entrance ramp closed
- Southbound I-43/94 to Holt Ave exit ramp closed
- Northbound I-43/94 from Mineral/Walker St entrance ramp closed
- Northbound I-43/94 to National Ave exit ramp closed
Late spring until Summerfest:
- Inside lane closures; maintain traffic on two outermost lanes (I-43 NB/SB Howard Ave to Marquette Interchange)
- Westbound I-794 to southbound I-43/94 system ramp closed
- Northbound and southbound I-43/94 from W. Mineral Street closed
- Southbound I-43/94 to National Ave/6th Street closed
- Northbound I-43/94 from Howard Ave entrance ramp closed (Holt Avenue entrance ramp open)
- Southbound I-43/94 to Holt Avenue eastbound exit ramp closed (Holt Avenue westbound exit ramp open)
Between Summerfest and the Harley 110th Celebration (late August)
- Outside lane closures; maintain traffic on two innermost lanes (I-43/94 SB Marquette Interchange to Greenfield Avenue)
- Westbound I-794 to southbound I-43/94 system ramp closed
- Southbound I-43/94 from W. Mineral Street closed
