Some flights to the northeast resume following Friday's snow
MILWAUKEE - A winter storm that dumped up to three feet of snow on the northeastcorridor Friday was still affecting flights around the country Saturday.
Mitchell International spokesman Ryan McAdams tells the Journal Sentinel that nothing was getting into or out of Boston, but that flights to other areas had resumed.
McAdams said Saturday morning, there were only one or two cancellations coming from New York's LaGuardia Airport, but by Saturday afternoon, departures to New York and Newark were listed as on-time.
The winter storm had grounded flights from Newark, New Jersey, up to Toronto on Friday.
McAdams says that even though flights out of Milwaukee are listed as on time, travelers should still be sure to check with their airline first.
