Storm Team 4cast for 2/8/13
Temps climb after Winter storm, but expect more snow early next week
MILWAUKEE - After four-nine inches of snow on Thursday, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the clouds to gradually clear with highs in the upper 20s and wind chills in the teens. With fresh snow and a clear sky, it will get cold quick this evening as temps drop into the teens and lows near 0 away from the lake by morning...at least the wind will be light.
Saturday will warm up rapidly into the 30s with lots of sun and a light breeze. Enjoy it because another storm arrives for Sunday with a wintry mix of light snow, sleet and freezing rain in the morning, and rain all afternoon with highs near 40 and a strong south wind. As temperatures cool Sunday night, the precipitation becomes a rain/snow mix again with light accumulations into Monday.
After that, next week is finally quiet with lots of sun and highs in the 30s.
