Salt effective so far on Racine roads

RACINE - Heavy, wet snow began to fall heavily upon the Milwaukee area late Thursday morning.
In Racine, on Highway 20, salt was working well on the snow that was falling.
Racine Public Works told TODAY'S TMJ4's Nick Montes that 25 salt trucks were trying to keep the roads from icing.
Nick said drivers were taking it slower in Racine.
