Presidential Fitness Test For Adults

You've heard of the president's council on fitness and its programs for young people, well now there's a program for adults too.

Under the program, grownups can be tested on aerobic fitness, muscular strength and flexibility.

That breaks down to a one-mile walk or one-and-a-half mile run for the aerobics part, sit-ups and push-ups for strength, and the sit-and-reach to measure flexibility.

Although adults wouldn't get that fancy certificate you got in school, results will show where you rank among people your age.
