BURLINGTON - The Echo Lake plant fire is out, but flare-ups continue at the site.
The last one happened around 6 p.m. Saturday when a pile of rubble caught on fire.
Within minutes, firefighters were back on site and back to work.
"I think there's still some stuff underneath we can't get to," Chief Ed Umnus says. "It's definitely not going anywhere, but it's still there."
Flare-ups have happened a number times, including a few this weekend.
