Morning flurries precede numerous spin outs
PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. - Southeast Wisconsin highways saw numerous spin outs Saturday following morning flurries coupled with below freezing temperatures.
The Kenosha County sheriff's department responded just after 8:00 am to I-94 and County Highway C for an accident in which an SUV was blocking the left lane of traffic. That slowed morning traffic in the northbound lanes of I-94 until all lanes were reopened around 10:30am.
In Waukesha County, several vehicles wound up in a ditch along I-94 in both directions at Maple Avenue. That was at around 9:30am Saturday.
In Milwaukee county, a crash just before 7:00am happened in the westbound lanes of I-894 at 92nd Street. In addition, around 6:00am, there was an accident on I-43 near I-894.
