Victim in weekend domestic violence shooting identified
MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee man has been arrested for the murder of a 27-year-old woman over the weekend.
Anita Brooks was found shot on Sunday in an apartment in the 3400 block of West Highland. According to Sergeant Mark Stanmeyer with Milwaukee Police, they believe the death was the result of domestic violence.
The 28-year-old suspect's case has been referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for possible charges.
