Ski hills, closed last week because of cold, closed today because of record warmth
MILWAUKEE - Numerous local ski hills have announced closures for Tuesday, Jan. 29, due to record warmth.
Sunburst said they will be closed Tuesday "due to the warm weather." However, they will reopen with regular hours on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
The Rock Snow Park will also be closed Tuesday, Jan. 29, due to the warm temperatures and rain.
Little Switz will also be closed "due to unseasonably warm weather." They will re-open again Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
According to Wilmot's website, they will also be closed Tuesday.
The warmth won't last though. Tuesday night and Wednesday, a winter storm is expected in the area. Click here for the full forecast.
