Two in custody for north side shooting
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police say they have two suspects in custody after a shooting at 45th and Clarke on the north side about 9 Saturday night.
Police say a 31-year-old man was in his home when he heard shots outside. According to police, the man went outside to see what was going on. At that point, a suspect shot the victim in the chest.
Police officers were already in the area and heard the shots. Other squads who heard the radio call about shots being fired noticed suspects running from the area. Those officers briefly chased the suspects and took them into custody.
Police say the victim is expected to recover from his wounds. He's being treated at a local hospital.
