High temperatures this month have ranged from a high of 52 degrees on the 16th to eight degrees on Tuesday. Temperatures will slowly climb back up this weekend with high temperatures in the low-forties again by Tuesday of next week. Light snow hits tonight and we could see a couple of inches in southeast Wisconsin by noon on Friday.

The snow season has been a bust so far from Milwaukee south to the Illinois border with only seven inches of snow accumulating at the airport, and even less in southern locations. Chicago has only seen just over an inch of snow this season, without one snow storm at an inch. The last time they experienced snowfall of an inch or greater was 329 days back on Feb. 24, 2012.

The remainder of Wisconsin has seen more snow than Milwaukee, but most reporting stations are still below normal through today.

Madison, Green Bay and Wausau all have at or around 25 inches of seasonal snowfall, while Superior has close to thirty inches and Eau Claire around 22 inches. La Crosse and Rhinelander have received about 19 inches of snow this season.
