MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A new survey shows slight improvement in how bank executives view Wisconsin's economic health.
The Wisconsin Bankers Association surveyed nearly 100 CEOs with headquarters in the Badger State. Twenty-seven percent say they think the state economy is in good health, while 71 percent rate it as fair and 2 percent call it poor.
A year ago, 13.5 percent of CEOs called the state economy healthy, 77 percent said it was fair and 9.5 percent said it was poor.
The Wisconsin State Journal (http://bit.ly/SARmGz ) says 9 percent of executives in the most recent survey think Wisconsin's economy will grow in the next six months, compared to 34 percent a year ago.
