Mom hires armed guard for daughter's elementary school
A Florida mother has paid to have an armed deputy stand guard at her daughter's elementary school.
The woman paid nearly $12,000 for the guard. The deputy will be at the school six hours a day, Monday through Friday.
The local sheriff calls the approach a "band-aid" solution.
