CRANDON - New information about the deputy who killed six people in a shooting rampage in Crandon: there have been a lot of questions ever since the Crandon massacre back in October.

Now, we’re getting some answers.

Six teens were killed by Sheriff's Deputy Tyler Peterson. Authorities say he was angry after an argument with his girlfriend, Jordanne Murray.

Murray's father discovered the bodies and made a chilling 911 call, “Tyler Peterson, the cop, he just flipped out and killed everybody in my daughter's apartment, and one guy's still alive. Looks like three others dead on the couch and blankets on and there's one kid in the kitchen corner screaming for his life."

The only one to survive: Charlie Neitzel.

Peterson used his service weapon, an assault rifle, to kill the other six teens. Police found an arsenal at Peterson’s home, including five rifles and three pistols.

Autopsy reports show Peterson did, in fact, shoot himself three times in the head before dying.

"These reports show conclusively, the first two shots did not cause brain damage, but the third caused extensive brain damage,” Kevin St. John from the Division of Criminal Investigation said.

The victims' families still want to know why Peterson was never given a psychological screening to be an officer.

Also, a new question has been raised. Tyler Peterson’s body was found with an 11-digit number written on his hand, 0902 784 0211. Authorities won't comment on what the number means.

Meanwhile, family members of the Crandon victims bought the house where the massacres took place. They plan to burn the house down in the coming weeks.
