Gun show in Fond du Lac, a busy place Saturday
FOND DU LAC, Wis. - While hundreds of people gathered in state capitals across the country Saturday to rally against stricter gun control, they carried signs with slogans such as "An Armed Society is a Polite Society."
The movement came at the end of a week in which
President Obama unveiled a sweeping package of gun-control proposals.
Here in Wisconsin, attendees at a two-day gun show at the Fond du Lac county fairgrounds said it was crowded.
Some waited in line for 30 minutes just to get in the door.
The gun show loophole has been a topic of concern since the Connecticut school shooting.
Today's TMJ4's Todd Hicks spoke to patrons who said they were buying up guns that could be restricted in the future.
