Packers pleased with alcohol policy
GREEN BAY - The Packers' security staff said Wednesday that they're satisfied with recent game day security changes at Lambeau Field.
Alcohol sales were cut off before the start of the third quarter at last weekend's playoff game against the Vikings.
Police and Packers' staff say that while some fans were upset about the decision, the overall response was positive.
"There was a little bit of confusion between some fans and some other folks about when to cut it off and how it was going to get cut off, but in the end I think it was a positive thing for us," said Doug Collins, head of Packers security.
There was no initial word if the procedure would be in place for future games.
