MILWAUKEE - People in downtown Milwaukee shivered while they waited for the New Year to arrive.
What better way to say goodbye to 2012 than with a spin around the rink at Red Arrow Park.
"I really enjoy ice skating since it's outside and the lights are very beautiful. It's just a great place to come with your friends," said Marissa Noe.
"We do this every year, since it opened. This is our tradition, and we usually go about 20 times around," explained Kari and Randy Talatzko.
"I just really like hanging out with these guys," uttered Taylor Anapol.
A lot of little ones ventured over to the domes for some family-friendly festivities. but for the big kids...
"I'm probably going to hit Brady Street up. I live right around the corner down there," suggested Aaron McCartney.
But no matter how you remember 2012, here's hoping for a happy and healthy 2013!
