Storm Team 4
Frigid New Years' Eve night expected
MILWAUKEE - A sizable storm system is passing to our south, but the only impact we'll have to deal with will be some clouds and slightly breezy conditions.
More significant is the powerful cold snap behind this system as arctic air makes its presence know for the start of the new year.
Partiers heading out tonight will notice the dramatic drop in temperatures and wind chills reaching at least 10 below zero inland.
As high pressure takes over, the cold will be associated with plenty of sunshine for the first day of 2013 and quiet conditions should persist through the balance of the week.
