Snow affects travel in western Waukesha County
PEWAUKEE - Snow has begun to fall in Western Waukesha County, and it's affecting travel this early Thursday morning.
TODAY'S TMJ4 reporter Tom Murray says that the snow that's fallen is the heavy, dense, wet snow that's a challenge to shovel - not the light, fluffy kind of snow.
As of 5:00 a.m., snowplowing provided a mixed bag: some roads done, some roads not in Pewaukee.
He cited Grandview Boulevard, with a number of plows and cars on the road, with conditions much like a rainy road - wet, but at posted speed limits.
Silvernail Road had less traffic, and much more snowy, slower conditions.
