Storm Team 4
Blizzard may be on the way this week
Dreaming of a White Christmas? It might happen in a big way.
Several small ripples in the atmosphere over the next couple of days, combined with warmer air approaching Southeast Wisconsin will lead to a good deal of cloudiness to start the work week.
A low pressure system will swing through the area tomorrow helping to trigger a rain/snow mix as the day progresses.
There could be a bit of slushy accumulation, but it should not be very significant.
On the other hand, a potentially huge Winter storm will begin organizing in the Southern Plains and set its sites on our region for Wednesday night through Friday.
The precise track of the storm remains uncertain, but some computer models are showing the potential for very heavy snow and blizzard-like conditions for parts of our area.
