MILWAUKEE - Despite a few flurries in the air Saturday morning, it's beginning to look like a snowless December.
How much longer will we be snowless in Milwaukee?
National Weather Service meteorologist Ed Townsend says Saturday could make the record books, tying the record for the longest stretch of consecutive days without measurable snow, at 279.
That record was set back in 1999.
Today's TMJ4's Jesse Ritka is predicting up to two inches of snow north and west of Milwaukee Sunday night, but far less than that, if any, for the city of Milwaukee.
If Milwaukee gets through the entire weekend without measurable snowfall, it would set a new record at 280 consecutive days without measurable snowfall.
According to the National Weather Service, the last time there was measurable snowfall in Milwaukee in 2012 was back on March 4th.
