Attempted getaway nearly tragic in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - An attempted getaway is nearly tragic in the Lincoln Park area at 1301 West Hampton Avenue. Milwaukee police were attempting to stop several stolen vehicles just before 10 p.m. Friday when a driver attempted to flee. Police say two officers were nearly hit while arresting another suspect, and later arrested the juvenile driver and passenger of the vehicle. Neither the officers nor the suspects were injured. Both juveniles will be referred to the Milwaukee County Children's Center.
