Road block goes up in New Berlin, angers some
NEW BERLIN- Neighbors in New Berlin have concerns about a road block that city officials put up last week.
Alderwoman Laura Karvala claims the move helps ease traffic on a block that drivers routinely utilize as a short cut between two busy streets.
The only problem, according to some; Karvala's home is on that block.
The New Berlin Common Council will meet again Tuesday to take up the matter. Lawmakers may decide to make the road block permanently or experiment with a different plan to ease traffic.
