BROOKFIELD - Women who shop in Brookfield are being asked to stay on high alert.
Police say a group of thieves has been targeting female shoppers, working to distract them while stealing their wallets.
The men take their victims' credit cards and use them at nearby stores.
Authorities are still investigating but say the suspects likely have Russian accents.
