'Monster babysitter' pleads not guilty to child sex crimes
RACINE - The so-called "monster babysitter," charged with raping young children, pleaded not guilty in a Racine County courtroom on Wednesday.
Alex Richter faces accusations involving almost 50 sex crimes to six children.
He baby-sat children for his classmates from Gateway Technical College.
Police believe that he abused them in his Racine apartment.
Investigators found DVDs of child porn, with one titled "Monster Unleashed."
Racine County District Attorney Richard Chiapete says there could be more victims.
"It's still a fluid investigation, and if anyone has any information, they had some contact with this individual, contact the authorities," Chiapete told TODAY'S TMJ4's Nick Montes.
Richter's next court appearance was scheduled for December.
If he is convicted on all counts, he faces life in prison.
