Gas line break forces evacuations in Menomonee Falls
MENOMONEE FALLS- Developing news in Waukesha County as We Energies crews are working to repair a break in a gas line in Menomonee Falls.
The Menomonee Falls Police Department says a construction crew hit a gas line on Donald Ct around 1:30 p.m.-1:45 p.m.
"We did get our crews on site, and isolate where the leak was coming out of the main, cap that and stop the flow of gas to the break," describes Brian Manthey of We Energies.
Some homes and businesses were evacuated as a precaution. Three customers were without natural gas service as work continues.
