Two men arrested on explosives allegations
GRAFTON -- Two men are arrested on allegations of possession of explosives and recklessly endangering safety.
Grafton Police there say a reinforced toilet paper roll with chemicals inside designed to produce smoke, heat, and pressure was lit and then thrown into an occupied car. The act occurred amidst a a conflict between two groups Friday evening. The device was thrown back out before it exploded. No one was injured.
Authorities believe the suspects are involved in another recent incident where a similar device was thrown into a business.
The suspects' identities are being withheld; however are being listed as a 21-year-old male from Grafton and a 20-year-old male from Sheboygan.
Both the Milwaukee County Bomb Disposal team and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms assisted with the investigation.
