Seven hospitalized after bus, van crash on north side
MILWAUKEE - Seven people have been hospitalized after a crash where a bus collided with a van on the city's north side.
A TODAY'S TMJ4 photojournalist says that the crash happened at about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday near the corner of North 25th Street and West Highland Boulevard.
He reports that the van was reportedly going northbound on 25th Street when a bus collided with the van's right side.
According to his report, the van then apparently slammed into a tree. The bus reportedly went between two trees and barely avoided smashing into a house.
There was no initial report of any injuries beyond complaints of back and neck pain.
The Milwaukee County Transit System says that Milwaukee Police are investigating.
