Killing Spree at the Spa
Radcliffe Haughton would 'terrorize' his wife, says request for restraining order
BROOKFIELD- Zina Haughton, whose husband is suspected in a fatal spa shooting, said he jealously terrorized her "every waking moment," according to a handwritten request for a restraining order.
Authorities say Radcliffe Haughton, 45, shot and killed three women, injured four more, then turned the gun on himself Sunday at a Brookfield spa where his wife worked.
The Journal Sentinel obtained a copy of that request for a restraining order.
The request shows Radcliffe Haughton to be a monster who would stop at nothing to terrorize his wife.
"He threatened to throw acid in my face, burn me and my family with gas. His threats terrorize my every waking moment," says the request.
It says Radcliffe Haughton ambushed his wife at work.
"I got out of my car at work. He stuck his arm out of his car and stabbed my car tire three times. He was later arrested in Brown Deer," wrote Zina Haughton
Zina was even too afraid to seek safety in her own home.
"I went to Brown Deer P.D....for escort to my home to grab a few things. He wasn't there," describes Zina Haughton.
Even though Zina Haughton did all the right things, she clearly had reason to fear for her life.
"He said he would kill me if I left him or ever contacted the police," says Zina Haughton.
