UW-Platteville crime scene re-creation
PLATTEVILLE - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is allowing people to visit a real-life, re-created murder scene.
This year's case involved with the annual educational exhibit "Horrific Crime Scene Revisited" is being kept secret until the event starts.
But school's criminal justice department organizers say it involves one victim and has "interesting and intriguing physical evidence." The exhibit is re-created as accurately as possible.
Visitors enter the basement where there are key pieces of evidence as well as a video, timeline and model of the location.
Visitors then go upstairs to the re-created crime scene, where visitors can make their own determinations based on the evidence.
It's being held Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 at the school's Forensic Investigation Crime Scene House just outside of Platteville.
