Milwaukee County Bomb Squad safely detonates improvised explosive device

WAUKESHA- The Milwaukee County Bomb Squad has safely detonated an improvised explosive device on Friday.
The Waukesha Police Department was alerted to the device in the 1300 block of Falls Court in Waukesha around 11:30 a.m. Upon finding the device, authorities called in the Milwaukee County Bomb Squad to handle the device.
The bomb squad removed the item and detonated it at a remote location.
An investigation is ongoing.
