Judge lowers bail in Papa John's deadly shooting case

MILWAUKEE - A judge has granted a slight reduction in bail for a suspect in the deadly shooting at a Papa John's location on Milwaukee's south side.
Mark Frazier faces a charge of recklessly shooting and killing his friend, Jo Griffin, inside the Papa John's on South 27th Street near West Morgan Avenue.
Frazier walked into court handcuffed and wearing orange.
"It's unfortunate that Mr. Frazier is sitting in this courtroom in orange, said his attorney, Bridget Boyle.
"It was just tragic."
Boyle asked Judge David Borowski for a reduction in bail, between $5,000 and $7,500.
"The $15,000 currently set on bail, his family cannot raise that amount," explained Boyle.
"I'll modify it to $10,000. I can't think of any case I have on a homicide where someone's posted at least $10,000 bail," said Judge Borowski.
Frazier's family says $10,000 is still too high.
