Packers' Rodgers named NFC offensive player of week for 2nd time in '12

GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers' starting quarterback has earned another nod as the best offensive player in the NFC for the previous week.

The NFL named Aaron Rodgers the offensive player of the week for the second time during the 2012 season.

The reigning NFL MVP threw for 338 yards and six touchdowns in a 42-24 defeat of the Houston Texans on Sunday.

He earned the award after the Packers' 28-27 win in Week 4 over the New Orleans Saints.
