Subway employee shot during robbery attempt on city's north side
MILWAUKEE- An employee of a north side Subway is recovering from a gunshot wound following a robbery attempt of the restaurant Tuesday afternoon.
Milwaukee police say the 47-year-old man is in a local hospital and expected to survive after two men tried robbing the Subway, at 3434 W. North Ave., around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities are looking for those two men who fled the scene.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
