Oak Creek father not charged with displaying explicit photos in garage
OAK CREEK- A father from Oak Creek won't be charged after allegedly having explicit images in view of children, says the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
Back in September, the father was arrested after the images were seen in the man's garage. But folks in his neighborhood told TODAY'S TMJ4 that sometimes you could see them when you walked by; so could their kids. And they want it to stop.
"I don't approve of it and I will never send my children over there," says a concerned neighbor.
The problem, according to a police log, was that the suspect's seven-year-old daughter has access to the garage. Several neighbors, who didn't want to be identified for fear of retribution, say sometimes you could see those pictures from the street and they're worried about other children seeing them, too.
"There's a lot of kids in this neighborhood, and I actually had a parent come to me and tell me not to have my kids over there, not to have them walk past the house," says another neighbor.
One man says he's been in the suspect's garage before and has seen "several sets of pictures depicting nude women posing on cars."
His description of other images is too graphic to share.
"I just really want to make sure the children in the neighborhood are safe and his daughter is safe," says one neighbor.
