Teen struck by train in Kenosha County
PLEASANT PRAIRIE- A 16-year-old boy is recovering at Froedtert Hospital from serious injuries after he was hit by a train Friday morning.
Investigators believe the teen couldn't hear the train coming around 7:10 a.m., and may have been wearing headphones.
Authorities found the teen conscious and alert, and he was eventually taken to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life. His current condition isn't known.
Pleasant Prairie police say they won't release the boy's name until his family is notified of the incident.
